Sta\u0159\u00ed \u0158\u00edman\u00e9 l\u00e9\u010dili k\u0159enem revma, ve st\u0159edov\u011bk\u00e9m Egypt\u011b se pou\u017e\u00edval k \u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed krve, vyh\u00e1n\u011bn\u00ed mo\u010dov\u00fdch kamen\u016f z t\u011bla, proti vodnatelnosti, dn\u011b, \u017ealude\u010dn\u00edm k\u0159e\u010d\u00edm, revmatismu nebo ka\u0161li.<\/p>\n<p>Sta\u0159\u00ed Slovan\u00e9 jej pou\u017e\u00edvali jako zeleninu, ko\u0159en\u00ed i \u00fa\u010dinn\u00fd prost\u0159edek proti bolestem. V na\u0161ich zem\u00edch je p\u011bstov\u00e1n ji\u017e od 12. stolet\u00ed (mal\u00ednsk\u00fd k\u0159en) a \u0161lecht\u011bn od 17. stolet\u00ed, kdy se p\u016fvodn\u00ed k\u0159en geneticky zvrhl v &#8222;\u010dern\u00e1k&#8220; a za\u010dal se zde p\u011bstovat &#8222;hrad\u00e1k&#8220; z Hradce Kr\u00e1lov\u00e9. Byl pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b jednou z &#8222;ho\u0159k\u00fdch bylin&#8220;, kter\u00e9 poj\u00eddaj\u00ed \u017did\u00e9 b\u011bhem slavnostn\u00ed hostiny zvan\u00e9 pesach. Je\u0161t\u011b dnes je naz\u00fdv\u00e1n v jidi\u0161 jako &#8222;chren&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>V angli\u010dtin\u011b se jmenuje horseradish (ko\u0148sk\u00e1 \u0159edkev).<\/p>\n<p>Hod\u00ed se nejen k ovaru, ale tak\u00e9 k hov\u011bz\u00edmu masu, velkou oblibu u n\u00e1s m\u00e1 tak\u00e9 k\u0159enov\u00e1 om\u00e1\u010dka. Ta se d\u0159\u00edve p\u0159ipravovala jako slavnostn\u00ed \u2013 se smetanou, rozinkami a mandlemi.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00edky pronikav\u00e9 chuti a v\u016fni se k\u0159en nej\u010dast\u011bji pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 na v\u00fdrobu ho\u0159\u010dice, dresink\u016f a pomaz\u00e1nek.<\/p>\n<p>P\u0159ipravit si z n\u011bj lze i k\u0159enov\u00fd ocet \u2013 nalo\u017een\u00edm n\u011bkolika pl\u00e1tk\u016f \u010derstv\u00e9ho ko\u0159ene do vinn\u00e9ho nebo jable\u010dn\u00e9ho octa. Ten pak m\u016f\u017eeme pou\u017e\u00edvat jako dochucovadlo i jako l\u00e9k.<\/p>\n<p>K\u0159en se tak\u00e9 p\u0159id\u00e1v\u00e1 k nakl\u00e1dan\u00fdm okurk\u00e1m nebo \u010derven\u00e9 \u0159ep\u011b. Labu\u017en\u00edci doporu\u010duj\u00ed strouhan\u00fd k\u0159en k tvrd\u00fdm s\u00fdr\u016fm, ryb\u00e1m i k vejc\u00edm natvrdo a zak\u00e1pnou jej rozpu\u0161t\u011bn\u00fdm m\u00e1slem. U\u017e\u00edv\u00e1me p\u0159i nachlazen\u00ed proti ka\u0161li, r\u00fdm\u011b i ch\u0159ipce \u2013 sta\u010d\u00ed t\u0159i l\u017ei\u010dky denn\u011b.<\/p>\n<p>Macer\u00e1t proti \u00fanav\u011b<\/p>\n<p>75 g k\u0159enu nakr\u00e1j\u00edme na kole\u010dka, zalijeme je 0,5 l \u010derven\u00e9ho v\u00edna a v\u0161e nech\u00e1me dva a\u017e t\u0159i dny odst\u00e1t. Obsah n\u00e1doby alespo\u0148 dvakr\u00e1t denn\u011b prot\u0159epeme. Macer\u00e1t slijeme a p\u0159i \u00fanav\u011b u\u017e\u00edv\u00e1me po l\u017ei\u010dk\u00e1ch.<\/p>\n<p>Obklad na revma<\/p>\n<p>K\u0159en p\u0159ilo\u017een\u00fd jako obklad proh\u0159eje k\u016f\u017ei, proto se zevn\u011b p\u0159ikl\u00e1d\u00e1 hlavn\u011b p\u0159i revmatismu, ischiasu. P\u0159ipravovaly se z jednoho d\u00edlu nastrouhan\u00e9ho k\u0159enu, p\u011bti d\u00edl\u016f mouky a jednoho d\u00edlu tuku. Nebo jen nastrouhan\u00fd k\u0159en rozprost\u0159eme na \u010dist\u00e9 pl\u00e1t\u00fdnko a p\u0159ekryjeme jej g\u00e1zou. Placka p\u0159ilo\u017een\u00e1 na \u010dtvrt a\u017e p\u016fl hodiny na posti\u017een\u00e9 m\u00edsto zp\u016fsobila, \u017ee se tk\u00e1\u0148 siln\u011b prokrvila a bolesti ustoupily. P\u0159i ka\u0161li placku pokl\u00e1d\u00e1me na hru\u010f \u2013 nejl\u00e9pe p\u0159ed span\u00edm. Citlivou k\u016f\u017ei v\u0161ak k\u0159en m\u016f\u017ee pop\u00e1lit!
