Soci\u00e1ln\u00ed\/st\u00e1tn\u00ed pracovn\u00edci, kte\u0159\u00ed byli d\u0159\u00edve dost hrub\u00ed a ignorant\u0161t\u00ed, jsou nyn\u00ed zdvo\u0159il\u00ed, proto\u017ee v\u0161echny telefon\u00e1ty jsou nahr\u00e1v\u00e1ny a vy m\u016f\u017eete volat a st\u011b\u017eovat si na jakoukoli slu\u017ebu, kter\u00e1 v\u00e1m byla poskytnuta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cesty. \u0158\u00edk\u00e1 se, \u017ee bl\u00e1zni a silnice jsou dva rusk\u00e9 probl\u00e9my. M\u016f\u017eu \u0159\u00edct, \u017ee silnice se pomalu zlep\u0161uj\u00ed. P\u0159inejmen\u0161\u00edm ty, kter\u00e9 jsem vid\u011bla, jsou velk\u00fdm zlep\u0161en\u00edm od doby p\u0159ed 5 lety, kdy jsem naposledy nav\u0161t\u00edvila Rusko <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zdravotnictv\u00ed. Zdarma nebo levn\u011b. A p\u00e9\u010de o d\u011bti je mnohem nap\u0159ed oproti tomu, co je poskytov\u00e1no v USA. V USA se smrteln\u00e9 nemoci l\u00e9\u010d\u00ed l\u00e9pe, ale typick\u00e1 l\u00e9ka\u0159sk\u00e1 pomoc nebo terapie tam prost\u011b nejsou. Dostalo se mi zde v Rusku diagn\u00f3zy a dobr\u00e9 l\u00e9\u010dby pro m\u00e9 d\u00edt\u011b. V USA ani nebyli schopni p\u0159ij\u00edt na to, co je \u0161patn\u011b. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u00eddlo. Skv\u011bl\u00e9 j\u00eddlo, schopnost naj\u00edt mal\u00e1 m\u00edsta s jedine\u010dnou kuchyn\u00ed na ka\u017ed\u00e9m rohu. Cokoli od tradi\u010dn\u00ed rusk\u00e9, gruz\u00ednsk\u00e9, uzbeck\u00e9 a\u017e po francouzsk\u00e9, italsk\u00e9, n\u011bmeck\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kvalita slu\u017eeb se tak\u00e9 dramaticky zlep\u0161ila. Nemluv\u011b o tom, \u017ee ve m\u011bstech jako Moskva a Petrohrad je t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 jak\u00e1koli slu\u017eba dostupn\u00e1 24 hodin denn\u011b, 7 dn\u00ed v t\u00fddnu <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je tu prostor pro r\u016fst. M\u011bsta mimo dv\u011b v\u00fd\u0161e zm\u00edn\u011bn\u00e1 pot\u0159ebuj\u00ed r\u016fst. Vzd\u011bl\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed a v\u00fdroba pot\u0159ebuj\u00ed zlep\u0161en\u00ed. Stejn\u011b tak korupce a alkoholismus se mus\u00ed \u0159e\u0161it. Ale zem\u011b se m\u011bn\u00ed k lep\u0161\u00edmu<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is life like in Russia? Is it as bad as it is portrayed in the Western media?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m a Russian born living in US for about 8 years now. I just came back from a month long trip there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can I say? The western media got me brain washed too. What I saw during my visit?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The social\/ government workers, that used to be rather rude and ignorant are now polite, because all phone calls are recorded and you can call and complain about any service provided to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The roads. There is a saying that fools and roads are the two Russian troubles. I can tell that the roads are slowly getting better. St least the ones I\u2019ve seen are a major improvement from 5 years ago, when I visited Russia last time<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The healthcare. Free or cheap. And child healthcare is so much ahead of what is provided in USA. In USA deadly illnesses are treated better, but typical physician assistance or therapy are simply not there. I was able to get a diagnosis and amazing treatment for my child. In US they were not even able to figure out what is wrong.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Food. Great food, ability to find small places with unique cuisine n every corner. Anything from traditional Russian, Georgian, Uzbek to French, Italian, German. The quality of service has improved dramatically as well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Not even to mention that in cities like Moscow and St Petersburg almost any service is available 24\/7<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    There is a room to grow. The cities outside the two mentioned above need to grow. Education and manufacturing need improvement. So do bribery and alcohol abuse. But the country is changing for better.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
